Performer applications

Calling all performers – Performer applications for Gidgestock 2017 close on 14th July 2017.

Gidgestock is an exciting new festival and preparation is well under way for our third annual event on 14/15th October 2017. The ‘Gidgestock Experience’ is based on the Woodstock theme of peace, love and great music set in a spectacular 50 acre Gidgegannup property, 40mins drive from Perth. Just as Woodstock was the launch pad for many top names in the music industry, Gidgestock is aimed at promoting talented emerging WA bands and solo performers of mixed genres.

Gidgestock Music Festival donates profits to the local fire brigade and WA charities and all volunteers and performers are asked to provide their services free of charge. In addition to being part of the great Gidgestock Experience performers receive free tickets, food vouchers, camping and breakfast, extensive publicity, great sound, and a quality video and sound recording of their performance.

Applications should be sent to showing:

  • Name of the act and main contact,
  • Short bio with photo for use in publicity,
  • Supporting material – videos, sound recordings, photos, Facebook/web pages, previous venues played etc.
  • Sound requirements – mics, Dis, amp mics etc.

We received great feedback from last year’s festival and have taken note of suggestions including the creation of an extended dance area and amphitheatre in front of the stage, a dance floor, more shade and dance music from 8.30pm onwards.

We look forward to receiving your applications.
