Dr Soul are a covers band based in the Northern suburbs, playing a mixture of old soul classics by the greats and new soul tracks by up and coming artists. They also branch out into blues, funk and even some disco, all with our 3-piece horn section groove. They are currently performing a Commitments and Tina Turner tribute show, incorporating the greatest hits from both of these iconic artists. Dr Soul is the brainchild and long time love of Richard Hilditch, a GP working in the Northern Suburbs. He has been on a mission to find great local musicians to play these great songs ever since arriving in Australia 5 years ago.
