When does the festival start?

Gates open at noon on Friday 11th October and from 8am Saturday (12th of October). The festival closes at 2pm on Sunday (13th of October).

What do I need to show to get in?

To enter Gidgestock, you will need to print your ticket purchase confirmation and present it at the gate when you arrive. You will be given your Armband and Program Booklet and directed where to go. Please follow all instructions from the parking and camping officials. 

General Entry Tickets can be purchased at the gate but all camping needs to be booked in advance.

What should I do if I want to camp?

Campsites are available if you want to join us for one or two nights under the stars – it is rustic – with portable toilets only and no shower facilities, so come prepared! Most camping sites are a standard size which can accommodate your car and a family sized tent. Once these spaces are full, there are smaller spaces available but your car will need to be parked separately. Please bring your tent, sleeping bags, swags etc.

A small number of Caravan and Camper Trailer sites are available – there are separate ticketing options for these in the camping section of the ticket sales. Please note that a 4WD is needed to bring a caravan due to the uneven surface and slope of the venue.

How do I get there?

Gidgegannup is most easily accessed by car. To get to the festival grounds:

  • Coming from Perth, on the Toodyay Road you take a left turn into Reen Road.

  • Continue on Reen Road for approx 8km and turn left into Treechange Rise.

  • Number 64 is on the right at the end of the road, near the bend.

  • You will be greeted at the gate, tickets confirmed and given directions for parking.

What facilities are there at the festival site?

  • Delicious food & soft drinks will be available for you to purchase from various vendors at the grounds. You can also bring your own food if you wish.

  • There will be a range of merchandise available for sale as well as the superb Kookaburra pre-loved store, so make sure you bring some cash!

  • Toilets are located throughout the grounds, and are free of charge. However, there are no shower facilities available.

  • There will be water available for washing and drinking during the festival.

  • Cameras are allowed – feel free to document the experience and share it with your friends.

  • Please note that the use of personal drones is NOT permitted at the festival. The festival organisers have pre-arranged an approved drone which will be taking photos and videos during the event.

  • Purpose built campfires are arranged around the site for your comfort in the evening. Note that absolutely no other fires of any description are permitted, including personal BBQs.

  • Various activities will be available for kids. More details will be provided in the lead-up to the event.

What do I need to bring?

  • Bring your pre-purchased tickets!

  • BYO drinks, chairs, picnic rugs, tents etc.

  • BYO crockery and cutlery for environmentally friendly dining.

  • BYO rubbish bags.

  • Bring your sunscreen, sunglasses and hat for daytime.

  • Warm clothes will be needed for the evening.

  • Insect repellent – it is tick season in the hills! All areas have been sprayed, but best to take precautions.

If I cannot attend can I still make a Donation?

Yes! All profits from the event go to the two worthy causes. If you are unable to attend but would like to support the event by making a donation, you may do so on the ticket sale section on Eventbrite. All donations are gratefully accepted.

Where do I put my rubbish during / after the event?

Please leave the site the way you find it and bring your own bags to collect and bring home your rubbish. Let’s keep the area beautiful! Please pay particular attention to the disposal of bottle tops and cigarette butts and deposit them in the bins provided or take them home with you.

What are the Terms and Conditions?

The event organiser reserves the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artist/s and/or vary advertised prices, event times and inclusions without notice. This includes any imposed rescheduling as a result of COVID 19.

  1. The event organiser reserves the right of admission and to enforce the venue entry conditions.

  2. Should the event be cancelled or rescheduled the event organiser will contact you via the nominated email address.

  3. Vehicles must be driven at walking pace within the whole festival site.

  4. Festival attendees must be aware that professional photographers, including a pre-authorised drone will be present and attendees may be photographed and their images used in social media.

  5. Personal drones are not allowed within the festival site.

  6. Dogs are not allowed within the festival site.

  7. Fires or any open flame devices are not permitted on the festival site, including personal BBQs.

  8. Shade umbrellas may be taken to the site but can only be used in designated areas and must be taken down each evening.

  9. There are natural hazards, including trip hazards, on this rural site and attendees are encouraged to be aware of their environment.

  10. Festival organisers reserve the right to remove any person who:

  • is in breach of the terms and conditions as outlined;

  • is involved in any illegal activity, including underage drinking. These matter will be referred to police and the offender/s escorted from the site;

  • is behaving in a manner that unreasonably interferes with another person’s enjoyment of the festival;

  • is causing damage or threatens the safety of any other people on the site;

  • possesses flares or fireworks.
