The Clarksville Five are a Rock band playing original, hook-laden songs in a hot set served with a good dose of energy to get you up on the dance floor.
With influences from Blues, Soul and even a little country, the guys deliver foot-stomping beats and jangly guitars driving their latest rockers or dropping down smooth and slow for a lover's lament.

Roughly formed in 2012 as a few guys getting together and strumming their favourites, The Perth based, five piece started to gig in 2018 and have played at Lyric's Laneway Party, Gidgestock Music Festival 2022, Clancy's Fremantle, Aardvark Bar, Sonar Room and Billabong Brewery, Fire in your Belly and Perth Folk & Roots Club.

After playing their favourite covers for a couple of years, songwriter Paul Dennis began to slowly piece his own songs together, bringing music and lyrics to the group for more of a challenge. The reception was positive, the band enjoying the freedom and scope that original material offered them and he continued writing, leading to the current all - original, tight set they perform now.
